Waiting

There certainly is a lot of waiting in this journey. Waiting to see doctors, waiting for blood results, waiting to get your prescription filled, waiting for the nurse to come and stop the beeping on the I.V. Waiting for the blood from the blood bank, and the list goes on….

Right now we are waiting for the bone marrow results – the official word that Sam is in remission.  Or isn’t.  We’re waiting for the thumbs up to go home.

It’s hard to make plans when you’re waiting and it’s one more lesson in taking each day as it comes and enjoying the moment.

  1. Hi Lorinda and Chris
We are here holding our breath for Sam too. . . so turning purple with the wait. M & D have kept us in the loop and praying for you guys. These are most difficult emotional journeys. Glad that the little ones can help keep us on track with their one line wisdom at times.

Seems there is so much of this going on right now as many of our friends and family are experiencing the same agony.

anyway, we appreciate your blog and are certainly expecting the best for Sam.

bless you all . . .” may He make His face to shine upon you and give you peace”

  3. Hi Sam, Lorinda and Chris:

We’re praying hard for all of you and wish God’s blessings upon you. Please say “hi” to Grandma and Grandpa Huebert for us. We will miss them at Bible Study tomorrow evening. The whole Bible Study group will continue to pray for all of you.

Take care, Love Ken and Judy Hildebrand from Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada
